Paul Miller was one of the founding Partners of RMT Architects. Paul passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by his family, on the evening of June 1, 2019. As with everything Paul did throughout his life, he gave his all to a nearly year-long battle with brain cancer and, in doing so, united his family and a circle of close friends into a tight group that will ensure his memory lives on forever.
Paul was the original Design Partner at RMT Architects. His 35-year architectural career was highlighted by a number of distinguished published works and his ongoing years of dedication to various design review board appointments. Paul developed RMT Architects’ architectural design style and founding principle, “we ultimately view ourselves as the facilitators of the client’s goals and dreams.”
Paul served as the Architectural Director of the Cordillera Design Review Board. At RMT, Paul was the Principal of Design, Team leader, and Project Manager on Commercial, Master Planning, Residential and Hospitality Projects, including Cimarron at Cordillera, Greyhawk at Cordillera, The Cordillera Equestrian Center, The “Currahee Bridge” Community Master Plan, The Discovery Center for Rendezvous at Winter Park, the “Sandstone” Clubhouse and Spa, and the “Brush Creek Ranch” Lodge and Spa. Paul authored Design Guidelines for the residential communities of “Sandstone”, “Rendezvous,” and “Currahee Bridge” and was Architectural Director for the Rendezvous Design Review Committee (’02-’05).
